4 spaces taken up by a late 70s/early 80s vette. I was more impressed than mad that he could do this with a vette. The guy swings into the spots, comes out and says "Heh, think anyone's going to hit it now?" and all I could do was just shake my head. He was definitely old, but that was no excuse. If anything, I'd be afraid of someone rushing into a spot and not noticing in time.
For reference, here's my jetta parked properly.

There was a car there when I got there. Sadly I haven't gotten around to equipping my jetta with the molecular displacers yet. Nor is it a VW Quantum, where that option was standard.

My Protege5 would fit perfect in that spot so he just wasn't quite able to open tke driver side door enough.

Pathetic. I can take up 6 with my Veyron!

So that divides into what, about 40 horsepower per parking spot?

Creepy van parked in the corner, under the trees.

That Buick almost looks like it double parked, but I could be mistaken...

Eh, not terrible because empty parking lot. And because Matt Farah lights!

This is at the far end of the lot, but it was not that empty. Literally the next pair of spaces over were cars so if the spots where my jetta was are taken, there is a chance an idiot could fly into the spots without looking and hit him. And he would deserve it.

Thanks! They're beer labels. Hence the plate meaning "Beer car" in German

Thanks again! I took it to Eurohangar this year and it was a real hit. Especially since the car + mods cost about 2 grand. I should do a DIY guide :P

Haha we need that! I've been looking for a first gen GLI but it is so hard to find a not completely destroyed one which doesn't need loads of work.

Don't bother with an official GLI model unless you want the badge for bagging rights. Suspension is really easy to swap out on most Jetta/Golf models before Mk. V so just get an upgraded kit and do it yourself on a clean car. Upgrades for the 2.0 ABA engine are a bit expensive per hp gained and overall a bit pointless. That's my favorite part about this car - nice and quiet and good on gas, but makes a statement by just being around.

I was also thinking about getting a rabbit caddie and swapping in a GTI engine. Or, check out what I just posted on oppo.
